So I know I never actually succeeded in raising the dead, but I tried, which has to count for something. And my storytime was quite evil.

I suggest you let me into the Evil League of Evil. It would be terrible if an "unfortunate accident" were to make your library books overdue.

[The Scary Librarian is standing in the middle of a graveyard, repeating Latin-esque chants]
SCARY LIBRARIAN: Once I raise the dead, there will be nothing to stop this Scary Librarian from joining the Evil League of Evil! I will get to meet Bad Horse ... Ponies! Cowboys!
[she starts jumping up and down in excitement, then composes herself]
SCARY LIBRARIAN: Focus!
[she continues chanting]
SCARY LIBRARIAN: Okay, I have been chanting for four hours ... Get up, you dead blonde bimbo!
[she continues chanting]
SCARY LIBRARIAN: Okay, I don't have time for this, I have a storytime tomorrow ... An evil storytime! I gotta go.
[she gets up and walks away ... just before a zombie Marilyn Monroe walks across the screen]

The Evil League of Evil is an elite group of super villains, headed by the infamous Bad Horse (the Thoroughbred of Sin). It is assumed that they have some connection to, or affiliation with, the Henchman's Union.

The main plot of "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" (a 2008 musical tragicomedy miniseries starring Neil Patrick Harris) revolves around Dr. Horrible trying desperately to get accepted into the League, which he is eventually told -- after a failed attempt to disrupt the dedication of the Heroes Memorial Bridge -- requires that he commit a murder to do so. After Penny's death, Dr. Horrible is assumed to have killed Penny himself and admitted into the league.

Evil League Fan Contest

After the release of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog onto the internet, a contest was held for fans to submit their own 3-minute-or-less video applications to the Evil League of Evil (www.evilleagueofevil.com/apply). There were over 1,000 submissions, from which 10 were chosen.

These new (unofficial) members include: Tur-Mohel and his Minyan, L'Enfant Terrible, The Reverend, Mr. Terrible, Princess Zombie, Calamitous Orphan, Lord Stabbington, Miss Broadway Dork, Duchess of Defeet, and Movie Monkey.
