[scene opens with a close-up of the moon in a dark and foggy sky]
NARRATOR: The librarian had another grim and long day ahead of him. Nothing but the endless rows of books and paperwork, in a dark and lonely place.
[a cloaked figure, holding a book, slowly makes his way across the screen]
NARRATOR: On his way to the library, he came across a soldier getting ready for battle.
[cut to a man wearing a gasmask and carrying an AK-47]
NARRATOR: He was flooded with images of how exciting the soldier's life must be.
[cut to the librarian, then back to the soldier]
NARRATOR: He looked at him with admiration and awe.
[cut to a closeup of the book in the librarian's hands, as the camera slowly pans up to show his obscured face]
NARRATOR: The thoughts of such adventures played over and over in his head, as he made his way to the library.
[he slowly walks off camera, as the scene changes to the soldier firing his gun, then back to the librarian entering the scene from the opposite direction]
NARRATOR: Later that day, on his way home, the librarian found the soldier dead.
[cut to a closeup of the soldier sprawled out on the floor, as the librarian looks down at him]
NARRATOR: He had been killed in a final assault.
[the camera pans across the soldier's dead body, then cut back to the librarian as he slowly makes his way off camera]
NARRATOR: The librarian couldn't stop thinking about him, as he made his way back home.
