NICK: Welcome to "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader." I'm your host, Nick Booksworthy, and this is my assistant, Julia the Librarian. Uh, today's contestants are Selena Dumbowl from Wisconsin, and Sabina Smartypants from North Carolina.
[the two girls behind the table wave and say "Hi everyone!", then cut to one of the girls speaking into the microphone]
SABINA: I'm the fabulous Sabina, and I'm from North Carolina, and I am gonna win!
[an "applause" sound effect plays, then cut to the other girl speaking into the microphone]
SELENA: I'm Selena, and I'm a little Wisconsin girl! Watch me beat Sabina like the little pumpkin she is!
[cut to the host speaking into the microphone, as the librarian sits between the two contestants]
NICK: As you might know, Sabina's character is a bit cocky. I wonder who will win? Now, for our first question ... Who is Curious George's friend? Sabina, do you know?
[he hands the microphone to Sabina]
SABINA: Curious George? How baby-ish! I don't read them!
[a "crying baby" sound effect plays, and she hands the microphone back to the host]
NICK: Then Selena, do you know?
[he hands the microphone to Selena]
SELENA: Ooh, I know! It's the guy in the yellow hat!
[she hands the microphone back to the host, who immediately hands it to the librarian]
JULIA: Close ... It's the Man in the Yellow Hat!
[an "applause" sound effect plays, as she hands the microphone back to the host]
NICK: Now for our next question ... Who is Clifford? Sabina, do you know?
[he hands the microphone to her]
SABINA: I think, um ... The blue ... The yellow ... No. It's the Big Red Dog!
[she hands the microphone to the librarian]
JULIA: Yes, that's right! Fifteen thousand dollars for Sabina!
[an "applause" sound effect plays, as she hands the microphone back to Sabina]
SABINA: Look who's winning!
[she hands the microphone back to the host]
NICK: Now for a commercial.
[cut to two puppets (a pig and a cow) as someone off camera starts beat boxing]
COW: Apple bottom jeans ...
PIG: Jeans!
COW: Boots with the fur ...
PIG: With the fur!
COW: The whole club was a-lookin' at her! She hit the floor ...
PIG: She hit the floor!
COW: Next thing you know, shawty got low low low low low low ...
[a "cow mooing" sound effect plays, then cut back to the game show]
NICK: Now back to the show. For our next question, is "Little House on the Prairie" historical fiction? Sabina, do you know?
[he hands the microphone to Sabina]
SABINA: Are there such things as realistic historical fiction?
[the librarian takes the microphone]
JULIA: No no no no no! Incorrect!
[she hands the microphone to Selena]
SELENA: I'm gonna guess ... Yes?
[she hands the microphone back to the librarian]
JULIA: Wow, you're great! Next question.
[she hands the microphone to the host]
NICK: Now we're tied at fifteen thousand, the next question is ... What did Benjamin Franklin do? Sabina, do you know?
[he hands the microphone to Sabina]
SABINA: He made lightning!
[a "glass breaking" sound effect plays, as she hands the microphone to the librarian]
JULIA: Uh, you're wrong! No one knows history these days ...
[she hands the microphone to Selena]
SELENA: He made the lightning rod!
[she hands the microphone back to the librarian]
JULIA: Ding ding ding! You hit the spot!
[an "applause" sound effect plays, as she hands the microphone back to the host]
NICK: Selena's winning with thirty thousand dollars. Now, for the one million dollar question ... What does a librarian do? Sabina, do you know?
[he hands the microphone to Sabina]
SABINA: Um, they ... teach you?
[she hands the microphone to the librarian, who immediately hands it to Selena]
SELENA: They teach you, and they help you check out books!
[she hands the microphone back to the librarian]
JULIA: Yes! You win!
[an "applause" sound effect plays, as she hands the microphone back to the host]

[Selena and the librarian get up and starts dancing, while Sabina crosses her arms and pouts]
