lyrics
Oh We found an island in the moonlight, we're never going home
and we beseech you king of love! just leave us alone!
we sailed all the night
Deeper In the forest of the isle, the lotus dust swirls and beguiles oh no
Sweets of peaceful apathy we'll never be this happy again, again.
Oh and the night was wild, the natives cried out in bucolic drone
We made an offering up to love, just leave us alone
We danced/sang all night, we're singing Oh oh oh
Oh we found an island in the moonlight, we're never going home
Oh and we beseech you king of love leave us alone
The night was wild the natives cried out in bucolic drone
We made an offering up to love, just leave us alone!
Deeper in your heart I'll climb, into fabled hallows
Even if you lose your mind to stars up in the sky.

From facebook.com:
Arthur and the Librarian is a folk/indie band formed by Arthur Gregory Crittenden and Aubrey Howard, with friends filling in along the way. Our music is best listened to on a sunny day.

From wordpress.com:
Arthur and the Librarian got their start when Arthur and Aubrey began playing music together one fateful Autumn evening. The band expanded quickly when Arthur's brother Chuck came on to play guitar for their live performance. A few shows later two friends, Chris and Sean, came aboard to round out the band. Now the 5 of them continue to write and make new music at every opportunity.
They have released one record (Reverend Whitepigeon Speaks on Love and the End of the World) and are releasing their second, Island of the Lotus Eaters, in February 2015.
The band continues to grow in depth and in spirit with each passing moment. As the last few years have brought constant change to all of their lives, they have become closer and closer with each other. They look forward to continue bringing their unique take on indie-folk to a broader audience as the years go on.
