1:24
A series of clips from The Middle where Brick gets very excited that a Librarian will be joining them for Thanksgiving dinner. I used it in a keynote to a group of Teacher Librarians

[scene opens in the Hecks' living room, as mother Frankie discusses plans for Thanksgiving dinner with the family]
FRANKIE: It'll be good to have another dessert, 'cause Bob's bringing Miss Gibbs from the library.
BRICK: Hold on ... the librarian is coming here?
FRANKIE: That's right.
BRICK: An actual librarian? Is coming here?
FRANKIE: Looks that way.
[Brick gets a nervous look on his face, while his brother Axl (wearing just boxer shorts) wanders in]
BRICK: Oh my gosh, but what will I wear? What will I say?
[Axl takes a handful of cereal out of Brick's bowl and starts eating, but Brick (not seeming to care) turns to him]
BRICK: Axl, we have to clean our room!
[he laughs]
AXL: Yeah, that's not happening ...
BRICK: Yeah, lemmee see if this changes your mind ... A librarian is coming over!
[Axl stops and gets a (fake) serious look on his face]
AXL: Oh my god, why didn't you say that? In that case, uh ...
[he knocks the box of cereal over, then laughs and walks away]
[...]
[Bob and his new girlfriend, a young female librarian (long black hair, glasses, brown dress, large purse hanging over her shoulder), enter the Heck household for Thanksgiving dinner]
BOB: Frankie, this is the new ray of sunshine in my life ... Lisa.
[he smiles, and the librarian (without changing her expression or the cadence of her voice) stares at Frankie]
LISA: Thank you for inviting me into your lovely home ... I brought my own mashed potatoes.
[she reaches into her purse and pulls out a single Ziploc bag half-filled with mashed potatoes]
FRANKIE: Oh, you didn't need to do that!
[she smiles, but the librarian continues in her monotone emotion-less voice]
LISA: I'm lactose intolerant. Trust me, I'm doing you a favor.
BOB: [pause] Isn't she amazing?
[he smiles (and Frankie tries to humor them by forcing a smile)]
BRICK: [from off camera] Uh grandma, I gotta go ...
[cut to Brick (wearing a suit and tie) walking towards them while talking on the phone]
BRICK: A librarian just walked in.
BOB: Is that Pat?
[he grabs the phone from Brick and begins talking]
BOB: Happy Thanksgiving!
[he laughs and walks off]
FRANKIE: Lisa, I think you probably know my son Brick from the library.
[he smiles and waves]
LISA: Sure. Nice tie.
[he looks down at his tie (covered in pictures of books)]
BRICK: Oh, thanks! It's really hard to find clothes with a book theme!
LISA: Tell me about it ...
[...]
[everyone is gathered at the Thanksgiving table, while Brick and the librarian (sitting across from each other) have a spirited conversation]
BRICK: And so, I give it to him and he files the book under "Five Nine Two" ... and it was a botany book!
[the librarian (much more animated now) shakes her head, while Bob (sitting next to her) tries to look like he's understanding their conversation]
LISA: Oh my god, everyone knows botany is "Five Eight Oh Five Eight Nine!"
BRICK: Of course!
[he laughs and slaps his hand on the table, as the librarian laughs as well]

From facebook.com:
Though our Librarian of the Week may seem a bit off season, she is nonetheless a good pick. Laura Heisler plays librarian Lisa Gibbs who accompanies car dealership manager Bob to a Thanksgiving meal hosted by the Hecks on the television series "The Middle." It was the best Thanksgiving precocious library lover Brick Heck had ever had.
